The vertical orientation of the Aster's Spherical Helix where the performed pentagram appears upward-pointing. The downward-pointing Aster is called a Katabasis Aster.
Arc
A half-circle within an Asterial or Penterial Stroke.
These are the fundamental geometric forms within Pentegraph, including the Penter, Aster, Dykirkos, Kirkos, and Tortoiseshell, each with unique characteristics and applications.
This refers to the ways the body is positioned and moves to execute Pentegraph movements. Examples include the Condor, Dragonfly, Hawk, and Pelekan, each mimicking a natural form.
Ascending Canted Gate
A specific type of Canted Gate that occurs during a Penter Transit from a Lower Gate to an Upper Gate, where one hand's Penter path shifts upwards in vertical space.
Aspects of the Aster
The distinct orientations of the Aster's 3D path where the pentagram faces different directions, due to the rotation of its defining plane. xyzx (Exwhyzedex),
yzxy (Whyzedexwhy), or
zxyz (Zedexwhyzed):
A fundamental Artefact in the Pentegraph system, formally defined as a Spherical Helix, which represents a unique three-dimensional geometric path performed by the human body.
Astergate
The simultaneous praxis of two distinct Asters, typically performed using the pentagram templates at the centers of two interlocked Penters within a Gate of the Pentegraph Orb.
Asterial Echo
A two-hand Asterial Praxis where the left hand follows the right hand (or vice-versa), specifically one arc behind, creating a precise chasing and mirroring effect.
Asterial Prime
The fundamental, single-hand execution of the Aster.
Asterial Stroke
A specific portion of the Aster's path where a concentrated input of effort occurs. There are five such strokes in a complete traversal of the Aster each corresponding to a bifurcated circle.
Awareness
I use awareness as a broad term which incorporates both mind and consciousness in the production of cognition. Consciousness is always there but awareness may not be.
Believe is 'be love': having faith that everything is good, trusting and knowing that you are good. There are no thoughts or justification, it is a pure acceptance of the universe and a release from society ego.
Cephalic Aster
A Somatic Aster located in the head, circumnavigating the pineal gland. It is associated with psychic abilities, projection of reality, and inducing out-of-body experiences (OBE).
Cervical Aster
A Somatic Aster located behind the Adam's apple. It is linked to communication, social integration, and the acquisition of authority and gravitas.
Coiling the Asterial Visage
A two-hand Asterial Praxis where both palms always face each other as they follow the Spherical Helix, requiring abrupt wrist twists to maintain the constant inward-facing palm orientation.
Condor
A style of Pentegraph Armature (movement performance) that is yet to be defined.
Consciousness is the root functioning of neural activity that is the processing of sensory information to produce awareness. The very base activity of the mind. The core and whole of the sum of brain activity and bodily integration. Consciousness is always the present moment of awareness. Consciousness exists before awareness and so the awareness might be societally influenced but consciousness is not
Contragrade
The reversed rotational direction (opposite to pentegrade) used when performing within the Mirrorway (e.g., in the Megak forms of the Loom and Mirror).
Cypher
A part movement within an Aster consisting of a Stroke or 3 Arcs.
Dantien
Tien means 'field', and there are 3 of them: one below the navel, one in the chest and one in the head. The Dan means 'cinnabar', and is a mistake for San which means '3'. 'Cinnabar fields' makes no sense whatsoever and is a case of Chinese whispers persisting for thousands of years. One of the oldest sources calls it San Tien.
Dao
The right way. The good way. The way of God. The way the universe is working. The true way underneath all our stories of it. The unfolding of the universe, of our lives, of all events and happenings, the path of nature down which we are led.
The divine way is the process of the universe which is too difficult to define easily. The inability to define it is due to the incomprehensible chaos from which the infinite unfolding of this material existence has manifested itself. If we were able to completely define it, we would still need to give it a name, and traditionally that word is God, but that word is also love.
Dodekakirkos Cross
A 12-circle orb configuration used in the Pentegraph Orb, which is like a collapsed version of the Dodekakirkos Touch.
Dodekakirkos Orb
An orb composed of twelve circles that overlap each other, with each circle encircling the five smaller circles of an Eikosakirkos Penter.
Dodekakirkos Penter
A type of Penter where five circles meet in the middle, creating a central pentagram. It serves to join Eikosakirkos circles together. There are 12 of them in the Orb.
Dodekakirkos Touch
A 12-circle orb configuration where circles touch, similar to a dodecahedron with circles instead of pentagons. This orb lacks usefully interacting paths.
Dragonfly
An asynchronous two-handed movement style performed within the Gate where the right hand operates approximately one full circle ahead of the left hand.
The ego is a model built by the mind, of ourselves relative to our environment from our life experience. This model could be conceived of as being that part of memory which contributes to our perception of ourselves.
This is a word that has become confused in everyday usage, with everyone having their own definition of it. A Latin and Greek word meaning the self, it is the concept of “the self” and its various definitions that have produced the confusion..
The ego is a behemoth; it is huge; the monster capable of subduing the god within us so we can fit into our societal cage.
Egress
The outward "push" action within an Asterial Stroke, signifying a proactive application of force. Can also be applied to a Whyzed or Zedex Penter during the outward parts of the movement. The opposite action is called ingress
Eikosakirkos Cross
A 20-circle orb configuration where circles cross instead of touch, and which does not have usefully interacting paths.
Eikosakirkos Orb
An orb composed of twenty circles that touch each other, forming groups of five circles known as Penters. It is the spherical equivalent of the Platonic solid icosahedron.
Eikosakirkos Penter
A type of Penter where five circles are arranged in a ring, touching each other without crossing. There are 12 of them within the Orb.
Eikosakirkos Touch
The 20-circle orb configuration used in the Pentegraph Orb, equivalent to the icosahedron with 20 faces.
Literally 'e-motion', out of motion; because something has happened.
A biologically conditioned response to a previously experienced phenomenon.
Emotion is our physical and mental response to other catalysts, and therefore is the effect or reaction to something which has been mentally stimulated or previously experienced. An emotion is the default pattern of response that arises in a situation dependent upon a previously experienced stimulus. The word emotion can be used to denote an affinity for things, for example music can trigger emotion. Empathy and sympathy, the recognition of ourselves similar to others ideas or personality or situation. Emotion can get triggered when we recognise ourselves in something else. This probably has some link to mirror neurons.
Enchanting the Aster
A technique where words or sounds are rhythmically associated with the Aster's five bifurcated circles during performance to enhance focus and direct intent.
Work is the changing of something into something else; the transference of heat; the changing of location. Energy is the name given to something which produces some change which we can observe. In fact, energy is just the sheer actuality of pure existence.
Work ultimately boils down to a sub atomic level where the process of time is continuing its journey making some change occur. This bubbles up causing molecular transfiguration with knock on effects which eventually comes to the notice of our macroscopic concept. It is the unfolding of the universe. There isn't anything which isn't energy.
This signifies a collection of Pentegraph techniques chained together, highlighting the system's potential for developing routines or "forms."
Entelechic Flux
The term used to illustrate the flowing continuity and underlying energetic flow when combining Asterial Strokes together.
Entelechic Tremor
A technique where the Penter Gyre is accompanied by a fast, rhythmic 8Hz shake, hypothesized to have strengthening effects on the body and the Penter movement.
Entelechic Twist
The conceptual term for the inherent drive of the Aster's path, compelling its specific twisting form.
Esokirkos
The esoteric name for the Aster, meaning "Inner Circle."
The word God is the origin of the word good, and good and evil are the parameters within which we can describe our universe.
Anything that is described as evil is from a perspective of an individual and biased towards an expectation of what their belief system (society) says should be. This judgement is dependent upon the understanding of the universe possessed by that individual. Ultimately everything is good because everything is God, and so evil is not a true description (a defining of the universe, dividing and naming). Evil is just a wrong story inherited from society and its religions. Evil is man’s insecurities, trying to keep things the same, defending his ego. It is
“Exceeding due limits”.
Evil is whatever is contrary to the way of God; whatever tries to stop the unfolding of the universe; resisting the inevitable changes of the processes of the right way—Dao.
In Pentegraph, a circle (kirkos) that is facing you, as if on a wall. Taken from the coordinates of 'x' and 'y' as used on a computer screen where 'x' is across, 'y' is high, and 'z' is zoom.
Exwhy Kirkosial Echo
A specific praxis, also known as the Kirkostu, where two hands trace a single circle, one arc behind each other.
Exwhyzedex (xyzx)
An Asterial Aspect where the performed pentagram shows to the sides.
Faith
If it is assumed that this process of existence is good, or the right way (Dao), then to abandon oneself to life and trust that whatever is happening is the right way and is good, will produce the best experience. Accepting what is, would be all that is required. Knowing this is faith.
It means "stop give". To stop giving advice or mental dialogue to the situation. To stop giving your criticism. To stop giving your picture of how you think it should be. You have done your remonstrating, you have given your complaint, it is completed and you are full and so now stop giving any more.
Sake means 'seek', 'for' means 'complete'. You complete your seek to find an answer to the situation and stop seeking a resolution to your problem. You finish with it and abandon it.
Gate
A fundamental Artefact that involves the interaction of two Penters, typically performed with both hands, most commonly the Lower Gate configuration.
Glossaster
A specialized Aster performance with closed eyes, linking the after-image of the pentagram with tongue motion for meditation and magick practice.
Canted Gate
Formed from one Lower Penter and one Upper Penter producing a characteristic slant.
God is the word that represents the processes which produces what we experience. Therefore you could say that consciousness is God and the mind is the hand of God.
The present moment, the reality, all that is our existence, this is what has been created by the processes of the universe and is what the word God is attributed to as creator. The unfolding of the universe, the laws of physics, the Dao—is God. If it is assumed that this process is good, or the right way (Dao), then to be with God would mean to abandon oneself to life and trust that whatever is happening, it is the right way; it is good. The evil would therefore be a denying of this or trying to prevent the way it is going. Accepting what is, would be all that is required, and this is grace. Anything else is arrogance.
Any sentient life form is an emergent god. We can know we are gods ourselves, but it is difficult to acknowledge others as being so. We can know that we are all gods, from personal empirical experience, but we cannot be gods together; only in isolation. There can only be one god. This god cannot be shared.
There is no love other than the love of God. Realising this is grace. It is the gratitude for existing and the feeling of love that this gives. The relaxation and peaceful mind and acceptance of how everything is, is grace.
Gyre
The name for the path of the Penter or Aster, or any route through the Pentegraph Orb, and the following of the circles which they comprise.
Hawk
A style of synchronous movement within the Pentegraph Armature where both hands perform on their opposite respective circle within the Gate at the same temporal point.
In the concept of a universal totality, where all is one. The unfolding process of this would be God and the topographical description would be Heaven. They are the same thing. Heaven is the universe in totality, start to finish, which is a poor way of saying where God resides, as this can only be the same definition. Heaven is no more a place than God is a being separate to the universe. Neither can have any place, time or form attributed to them because effectively they are the form and the time that makes the universe.
Intelligence
The word comprises of Latin 'inter' = between, and 'legio' = to gather, and is the linking and juxtapositioning of information to form concepts by the brain. Between the gathering.
Ingress
The inward "pull" action within an Asterial Stroke, signifying a reactive or returning application of force. The opposite action is called Egress.
The word comprises of Latin 'inter' = between, and 'est' = to be; and means 'between being'. It is the activity that happens when you are not in the base state of just observing.
Justice
Justice is a human society concept; it is not real. It is human society that divides up right and wrong. To cater for the examples of injustice an afterlife is created to balance it all out; it is not real. Only the human mind creates this concept.
Karma
Most karma for human beings occurs through the influence of events happening in society which are re-played again and again due to our habitual behaviour, giving a knock on effect that persists through generations. The future children, who are to suffer the karma from a person’s action, receive it by a subtle process where emotional or other harm is passed on through the family or society effecting the future generations.
Katabasis Aster
The vertical orientation of the Aster's Spherical Helix where the performed pentagram appears downward-pointing. The upward-pointing Aster is called an Anabasis Aster.

Kirkos
The fundamental unit of circular motion and geometry within the Pentegraph system, representing a single circular path.
Kirkostu
A specific praxis, also called the Exwhy Kirkosial Echo, where two hands trace a single circle, one arc behind each other.
Love is the acceptance of the blessed state of existence and is the essence of pure being. Acceptance is going with the flow; an absolute trust in the way, going with the way of nature: Dao.
Love is not an emotion. E-motion: that which comes from something happening. Love is not dependent upon anything from the past. It is pure and base and beyond any precondition
Lower Gate
The usual and most common configuration of the Gate, composed of two "lower Penters" that overlap to form eight distinct circles, and are found in the lower hemisphere of the Pentegraph Orb.
Lower Penter
A Penter that has its central pentagram point downwards, and in its common representation, has a circle at the top and four circles underneath. These are the Penters that occupy the lower hemisphere of the Pentegraph Orb.
Lower Tortoiseshell
A Tortoiseshell configuration where a Lower Gate is at the bottom with an Upper Penter above. This is usually performed with the hands only, utilizing Canted Gates in the performance.
The attainment of a desire by manipulation of mental working to create circumstances and expectation conducive to fulfilling the prerequisites for the manifestation.

Formed when two Asters overlap each other, with their centers sharing the exact same point in space, creating a distinctive 10-pointed star.
Megasterial Echo
A specific form of Megaster praxis where the left hand performs an Anabasis Asterial Prime and the right hand performs a Katabasis Asterial Prime, both in an anti-clockwise direction and mirrored in their synchronization.
Mesokirkos
The central circle within a Mirror. When 2 Penters are joined together with only one circle overlapping.
The method of preparing us for our realisation of godhood. The controlling of the mind and cessation of its meandering leaving us in a non-resistant acceptance of our divine manifestation.
A functioning of the brain. It is the mind which compares, and consequently produces the concept of time and the continuity. This makes the mind the sensor of time, and deals with the past and future only. It is the concept creator and the story teller.
Omphalos Aster
A Somatic Aster centered at the navel, representing the "core of yourself" or the "First Self."
The meaning of the word 'universe': all together; all turned into one. Joining the beginning and the end together, like a clock at 12 o'clock, is the principal of cycles, and everything can be described in cycles: electromagnetism, star and planet formation, life and the universe itself. One Turning is the biggest cycle of them all.
The basic sphere of interconnected circles that surrounds the practitioner, serving as a dynamic canvas for performing the geometric patterns and movements of the Pentegraph system.
Pentegrade
The normal rotational direction for Penter performance: anti-clockwise for the right hand and clockwise for the left hand. If performed within the Mirrorway, these directions are reversed and are called contragrade.
The word comes from the Latin Pre-Sentio. Sentio = Perceive - from 'per' meaning "thoroughly" + 'capere' meaning "to grasp, take". Therefore Pre-Sentio = before thoroughly grasping, before the minds judgment and analysis.
A contraction of "Pentegraph Template", the key Artefacts of Pentegraph used as templates to trace their path.
Penter
A fundamental Artefact representing a basic path interwoven throughout the Pentegraph Orb, composed of five circles. Unless otherwise stated, it refers to the Eikosakirkos Penter path.

The specific act of a hand migrating its Penter path from one Penter structure to another, usually from a Penter on one hemispheric level to a Penter on another hemispheric level.
Praxis
The name for the practices of Pentegraph. The general act of performing Pentegraph movements.
Purgatory
A state of bliss, letting time go by until death. Conceived as freed souls biding time before utopia appears. The “soul is free” as in “the individual is not playing”. Time out. The attainment of the meditative state of a still mind is purgatory.
Reality is an illusion. There can be no reality because it can only ever be a story that is constructed by a human mind, a mind which is woefully inadequate to comprehend what reality really is. We try.
There are 2 methods in which re-incarnation works. Genetic inheritance and societal effects. Past lives are our observation and self-identification of characteristics in others that have gone before. All experience is created by our minds: our memories and imaginations tied to the existent physical being. We are each reincarnated into each other. The soul is throughout us all—now, the past and the future. The soul is common to each of us, it is every one of us.
Relief = love again—the continuation of what is love, a return to love and the knowing that everything is wonderful and as it should be. The lightening that the etymology refers to is due to the unburdening of our suffering which returns us to the state of love. The pure preternatural understanding of the word is more important and justified than the unphilosophical usage that has preceded it.
Respect
"Re" = again, "spect" = look; to look again. Respect does not need to be earned, it is a core quality of intelligence. See the god within them and know that all have inadequacies as well as greatness. We all have our strengths and weakness', we just have to "look again" to appreciate other people.
Sacral Aster
A Somatic Aster located within the pelvis, serving as the locus for desires related to stability, grounding, power, and strength, its shape mirroring the downward pentagram.
Self
The core consciousness within us that we identify as self, is ultimately a product of our physical existence and all experience is radiant from this physical being. The core consciousness arises within the physical individuality via neuronal matrix building via sensory acquisition.
The soul is the organism of mankind. It is only our personal recognition of it which pertains to our physical individual selves. It is the thing within us which is also in everyone else and which continues without our self.
The spiritual word is only there to define the physical. It is concepts to describe experience. The experiencer is in the physical. It is nothing more than concepts to describe and define the physical. Having an extra concept model with which to describe our reality is a good thing, but the two worlds are not separate.
Spherical Helix
The formal definition and primary term for the path of the Aster.
Split Tortoiseshell Dance
A variation of the Tortoiseshell Dance designed to ease the difficulty of synchronization by spatially separating the Lower Penter (for the foot) from the primary three-Penter structure, leaving the hands to perform the Gate without spatial coordination with the foot.
A pre-waxed, unengraved canvas for the creation of a Sigil of Megak.
Stroke
A specific portion of the Aster's path where a concentrated input of effort occurs. There are five such strokes in a complete traversal of the Aster each corresponding to a bifurcated Kirkos.

Tortoiseshell
A specific three-dimensional geometric configuration within the Orb, comprising three overlapping Penters.
Tortoiseshell Dance
A highly complex performance within the Pentegraph system, executed with one foot and two hands, where the hands typically perform within an Upper Gate and the foot engages with a Lower Penter.
'Ascend' means to go up, 'descend' to go down, and 'transcend' means to go across. Your spiritual transcendence is not to a new place, but to the place you came from; the place that preceded the place you now want to egress. Your original self is your destination, a returning to non-dichotomy, to purity and wholeness, to your holy self—your First Self before you had descended into the world.
Literally 'one story', the complete lot of it from beginning to end.
Also One Turning.
Upper Gate
An upside-down version of the Lower Gate.
Upper Penter
A Penter that has its central pentagram point upwards, and in its common representation, has a circle at the bottom with four circles above it.
Upper Tortoiseshell
A Tortoiseshell configuration where an Upper Gate is above a Lower Penter. This is the configuration that is used for the Tortoiseshell Dance.
Utopia
The spiritual concept of utopia is heaven. The mundane concept is of each individual spending its lifetime in an unrestricted environment, allowed to follow their natural path without the sustaining mechanism (the governing society), altering the course because of restrictions that are incurred by it.
A person who journeys into the White Room. The ultimate zero, journeying beyond time. Also 'Whitenaught', to convey the attribute of nothing or naught.
The antonym of the mind is the White Room, the pure white light that is sight without sensory awareness, with a high pitched sound rising to the point of inaudibility, and a floating boundary less form due to having no tactile limiting sensation. There is no awareness of time—which is the base of the mind—and so without the necessary sensory information with which it can compare things, the mind ceases to exist.
In Pentegraph, a circle (kirkos) that is perpendicular to you, as if to your side. Taken from the coordinates of 'y' and 'z' as used on a computer screen where 'x' is across, 'y' is high, and 'z' is zoom.
